Successful candidate will have working knowledge of PLC’s, AC/DC drives, AB Controls, P.M. programs, hydraulics, electronic and electrical controls, machine repair, and troubleshooting. Fabrication and welding experience is a plus however not required. Requirements: It is essential that candidates be in good physical condition to work with our products and machinery. Must be able to lift 50+ pounds, be able to work in a high-temperature work environment, and read measuring instruments. Must be able to work on-call occasionally and work required overtime as necessary. Successful candidate will have ten+ years experience in an industrial setting.   QUALITY ASSURANCE TECHNICIAN Description: Qualified applicant will possess at least 5 years of previous experience as a Quality Assurance technician in a plastic manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will have prior experience testing plastic material with a thorough understanding of color technology and spectrophotometer experience, strong computer background with proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook, excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong leadership and training skills, as well as comprehensive understanding on ISO and or GMP’s. This candidate will be performing a variety of tests (some using micrometers, calipers, gauges, accelerated weather, microscope, microtome etc.), analyzing data, determining acceptance, and reporting findings on all materials produced. Candidate will also handle non-conforming products, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and writing of new procedures. Candidate should expect to be very hands on as much of the time will be spent in the production areas versus the office. Requirements: Must be organized, self motivated and able to complete projects with minimal supervision. ASQ certified quality technician certification is a plus. This position is a first shift position however candidate will need to be flexible to work overtime with occasional night and weekend shifts. PROCESS MANUFACTURING ENGINEER Description: King Plastic Corporation is looking for that extraordinary, high energy individual who can wear many hats as a Process Manufacturing Engineer. The successful candidate will be a true leader, capable of mentoring teams in lean manufacturing, project management, and technical processes and will challenge the existing paradigm resulting in large quantifiable improvements. This is a hands-on position providing troubleshooting, technical, and philosophical guidance and the successful candidate will be expected to make recommendations on improvements of current processes. The focus will be to identify and solve problems with highly effective solutions regarding productivity improvements through process refinements, training programs, product sequencing, line feature enhancements and cost justification of same always keeping quality and efficiency in the forefront. While this position is typically a standard day shift job, flexibility to work some evenings and weekends is a must in order to support our 24/7 operation. Requirements: Successful candidate will have related Bachelors of Engineering Degree as well as 8-10 years of experience in sheet plastic extrusion. PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR Description: We are looking for a seasoned supervisor capable of motivating, mentoring, and empowering teams. Must be comfortable supporting company policies and have a good knowledge of employment law. Our supervisors assign work and instruct in proper work performance, safety requirements, company rules and procedures and arrange for proper maintenance of machines and equipment. They actively encourage and support concepts of employee involvement, continuous quality improvements, lean manufacturing concepts, and encourage and build teams. If hired, you will be responsible for discipline, employee relations, performance reviews, and wage recommendations as well as making recommendations to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of product. You will also prioritize and coordinate the work flow on the shift. Local candidates with prior sheet extrusion experience and a good work history will be considered over all others.
