Polypropylene
King Plastic Corporation’s polypropylene products offer excellent chemical resistance. They resist organic solvents, degreasing agents and electrolytic products.

Polypropylene is generally impact resistant and has good physical properties and a low specific gravity. The material has very good high temperature performance for a polyolefin and it is stiffer than LDPE or HDPE. Polypropylene is also thermoformable. It has

good stain resistance and low moisture absorption as well. Low temperature impact is not a hallmark but can be improved by using a copolymer polypropylene.

Our Polypropylene is both FDA and NSF approved.

General Applications:
  • Structural tanks & covers
  • Plating barrels & tanks

FEATURED PRODUCT

NEW! King MicroShield™ is a non-toxic antimicrobial upgrade now available in many of King Plastic Corporation’s polymer sheets. It helps products stay cleaner between cleanings and inhibits the growth of product-damaging microorganisms. It is ideal for cabinetry, case goods and other architectural applications. Unlike other antimicrobials, it retains its effectiveness for the lifetime of the sheet without leaching into the environment or creating resistant strains.
